Barcelona are releasing Yusuf Demir back to Rapid Vienna.

Marca says Barcelona have processed the paperwork that confirms young Demir's departure from the club after a loan spell from Rapid Vienna.

The Austrian starlet was hampered by the fact that Barcelona would've had to have made his loan spell permanent for 10 million euros had he played a certain number of games for the Blaugrana.

Given the Catalans' financial woes, it was another expense that the club wanted to avoid and have instead opted to let go of the talented winger.

Demir is already back in Austria, where he is training with Rapid Vienna.
