Riqui Puig is expected to be on the move from Barcelona before tonight's transfer deadline.

The midfielder was left out of Barca's squad for victory over Getafe on Sunday in a sure sign he is not in coach Ronald Koeman's plans.

The Dutchman handed 17 year-old midfielder Gavi his debut, while also selecting Yusuf Demir ahead of Puig.

AS says Barca are prepared to cash in on Puig by selling him outright today.

The youngster has not featured for Barca in competitive action this season.

Puig appeared to have won over Koeman last season after landing a new contract in January, signing terms to 2023. However, he is now being crowded out as Koeman focuses on other midfield options, including the younger Demir and Gavi.

Last season, the 22 year-old Spain U21 international played 24 games for Barca, scoring once. He managed 14 appearances in the LaLiga.
