Barcelona president Laporta insists Griezmann could yet stay

Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists they're happy to count on Antoine Griezmann for the new season.

The France attacker has been offered to Atletico Madrid, along with Premier League clubs, as Barca seek to lighten the wage bill.

But Laporta now says: "Griezmann has a contract with Barca.

"Unless there is movement we rely on the player. We cannot deny an interest in the player, and that shows his quality."

Griezmann is with Barca today for their Germany-based preseason camp.
