Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that he and former Blaugrana manager Ronald Koeman have put their differences aside once and for all.
Tactician Koeman of course took his place on the Camp Nou bench back in 2020.
After just over a year in charge, however, a shaky start to the season saw the Dutchman sent on his way by the incoming Joan Laporta.
As much left a sour taste in the mouth of Koeman, considered something of a Barca legend owing to his time spent lining out for the club.
The ex-defender, in turn, never shied away from making clear the feeling that he was treated unfairly by Laporta and his board.
As alluded to above, though, this week, the pair appear to have buried the hatchet once and for all.
During a joint-appearance in front of the media, Laporta was drawn on his relationship with Koeman at present, to which the Spanish patron responded:
“Koeman and I have reconciled. We are at peace again. Barça above all, there’s no point in fights or arguments.”
