In a major update, SPORT’s Toni Juanmarti reports that Barcelona director Deco and co-ordinator Bojan Krkic have flown to London today to meet with a potential manager target.

Over the past few days, Xavi Hernandez’s future has once again become untenable with Joan Laporta & co. looking for a change before next season.

Even though an official decision has not been made, all signs point towards Xavi being sacked and replacements are being sought.

Meeting set with Hansi Flick

Former Bayern Munich and Germany manager Hansi Flick is one of the main candidates to succeed Xavi at Barcelona.

And, as per the aforementioned report, Deco and Bojan are in London to meet with the sextuple-winning manager and his agent, Pini Zahavi.

It must be noted that Flick has been waiting for Barcelona to approach him ever since Xavi announced his departure earlier this year.

But following the 44-year-old’s U-turn last month, the German tactician’s ambitions were set to be left unfulfilled.

However, the situation has changed once again now and Flick could get his dream job at Barcelona, with the 59-year-old even prepared to snub Chelsea in order to join the Catalan heavyweights.

More details are awaited regarding the supposed meeting in London that will take place between Deco, Bojan, Flick, and Zahavi.
