Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong says Saturday's El Clasico against Real Madrid will be exciting - despite the lack of fans.

De Jong believes the clash will be as decisive as ever in the race for the title this season.

He said, "I already played El Clasico last year and you feel that it is a different game if you compare it with other games. You know the whole world talks about this match for weeks. Of course there are always nerves, like in any other game, but you have the feeling that something very special is coming with El Clásico.

"Real Madrid will be a tough opponent, the games against them always are tough because they are good opponents but we believe in ourselves a lot, we have a great team."

De Jong added, “It's great to be able to play these games and fight them to define who is better of the two. I just want to play well and be an important part of the team to help win titles this season. In a club like Barça you always have to try to fight to win all the titles."
