Barcelona midfielder Frenkie De Jong has sung the praises of young teammate Pedri.

Ahead of tonight's Supercopa de Espana semifinal against Real Sociedad, De Jong admitted his admiration for his teenage teammate.

De Jong said, "I think Pedri has a lot of talent, a lot of quality and is a crack for me."

About the future of Leo Messi and whether their improvement can help him decide to continue in Barcelona, he did not want to consider it.

He added, "I think it is not a question for me, I can't say anything about Leo's situation."
