Barcelona make contact over signing of Brighton star | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have made first contact over the potential summer signing of a member of the goalkeeper ranks at Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion.

That’s according to transfer insider Santi Aouna, who points towards Bart Verbruggen as the player in question.

It is of course common knowledge at this point that Barcelona are on the lookout for fresh options between the posts for next season.

Amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding the futures of all of Marc-André ter Stegen, Wojciech Szczęsny and Iñaki Peña, Deco and co. have long kicked into gear a search for a new shot-stopper.

Leading the way when it comes to those being eyed at present is Espanyol standout Joan García.

But as alluded to above, the Spaniard is far from the only option…
