Chelsea's win ended a remarkable stretch of Spanish dominance in European finals (a streak of 27 consecutive titles!), and also ensured that the Blues became the first European team in history to complete the entire collection of international trophies.

The London club have now been champions of the Europa League, the Champions League, the Cup Winners' Cup, the Super Cup, the Club World Cup, and now the Conference League. No other European club has claimed all these trophies, mainly due to the fact this was only the fourth edition of the Conference League. .

With ten international titles to their name, the Londoners have also lifted every possible trophy available to top tier clubs in England.

In the context of English teams, the 2024/25 season has been a ground-breaking one - six English clubs lifting elite trophies in the same season making it an unprecedented vintage.

In addition to Chelsea's Conference League title, Tottenham won the Europa League, Manchester City claimed the Community Shield, Crystal Palace the FA Cup, Newcastle the League Cup, and Liverpool the Premier League.

Previously, the maximum number of elite triumphs among different clubs in England was five, a tally recorded in 1963, 1972 and 2013.
