The current priority for FC Barcelona is the registration of their summer signings. For now, that issue continues to linger and is a big concern for the club. However, there is hope that at least Joan Garcia’s registration can be sorted out quickly.

That is mainly due to the club having already sent in Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s medical report to La Liga. Ideally, the assessment of the Medical Committee will be a positive one, and it will allow Barça to register Garcia using Ter Stegen’s available salary space.

However, if that option does not work out and the club’s Plan A fails, there appears to be a special Plan B as well that could be used. As pointed out by Mundo Deportivo, this particular plan would involve a personal guarantee from board members.

Interestingly, this method was also used back in 2022 to register Jules Kounde when he first arrived from Sevilla. This time around, however, it is the alternative option that Barça have in mind to register Joan Garcia if other avenues fail.

For now, the club continues to hope the medical report solution will be approved. Only if it is deemed inapplicable, and there is no possibility of it working, would board members step in with personal guarantees to ensure Garcia is officially registered.
