There continues to be some kind of tension within FC Barcelona due to player registrations and other complications. However, whereas most players seem to be willing to negotiate or listen, there is one particular case that continues to be a problem. For Barcelona, managing that case is a big priority right now.
The case in question is that of German goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, who continues to be part of a problematic issue for La Blaugrana. Initially looking to offload him, his surgery has since emerged as a good enough alternative to possibly register other players.
However, Barcelona would need him to be sidelined for four months or more in order to make use of his salary space to register other players. Unfortunately, the player decided to take things into his own hands and declare a recovery time of three months for himself.

Moreover, by deciding to release his statement before Barcelona could release theirs, he created some unwanted tension within the club. Now, however, the club captain has undergone surgery successfully and the club remains firm on its stance.
According to Fernando Polo, Barcelona continues to insist that the player’s recovery time will indeed remain between 4 to 5 months. Under the supervision of the club’s medical services, they expect him to remain sidelined for that duration due to his recovery.
While the official report that will be provided to La Liga will be made after speaking with the surgeon. However, the club continues to believe that the player will indeed remain sidelined for that duration instead of the three months he mentioned himself.
Either way, if this is true, Barça would likely get a big boost in terms of being able to at least register Joan Garcia. However, even apart from Ter Stegen’s recovery time, Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste recently provided some more information about the club’s plans for player registrations.
