Barcelona centre-back Eric Garcia continues to attract plenty of interest from across Europe, but neither he nor the club are considering parting ways.
As reported by SPORT, the defender remains fully committed to the Catalan side, despite numerous offers for a loan or permanent transfer.
Interest in Garcia has been consistent. Several La Liga sides, as well as top-tier European clubs, have made contact regarding a potential move.
Girona, in particular, have maintained a strong desire to bring him in as they are keen on adding him to the squad. However, the player and his camp have no interest in engaging with any of these offers.
In fact, both Garcia and his advisor are growing increasingly tired of having to repeat themselves: they have no intention of leaving Barça.
Interestingly, this is not a new stance, as it mirrors the position they took last summer as well.

Last season, Garcia emerged as a key figure within the squad. His consistent performances and ability to play across multiple positions impressed Hansi Flick.
Whether in central defence or stepping up in midfield, Garcia proved dependable and that hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Flick is said to value Garcia highly, and the German manager has no plans to let go of one of his most trusted defenders.
Simply put, there is no market strong enough to make Barcelona consider selling or loaning Garcia. The player wants to stay, and Flick wants to keep him.
Interestingly, despite all the speculation, Garcia has not used the moment to pressure the club into speeding up talks over a new deal.
His current contract runs until 2026, but discussions over a renewal are currently stalled. Even so, neither Garcia nor his agent have tried to leverage the market noise to their benefit.
With August still to come, the rumour mill may keep spinning, but Garcia’s future looks firmly tied to Barça just the way both he and Hansi Flick want it.
