Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado has made it clear that he has no intention of leaving the club, despite reported interest from Atletico Madrid.

According to SPORT, the 21-year-old is fully committed to staying at Barça for as long as possible, even as the club considers trimming its midfield options under Hansi Flick.

With a crowded midfield featuring multiple players competing for the same role, Casado’s name has been floated as a possible departure to ease the situation.

But the La Masia product has no interest in entertaining offers. His priority is to succeed at the club he has grown up with.

Casado has worked hard to reach the first team, and he is not about to walk away now.

In fact, it is to be noted that even before officially breaking into the senior squad, he travelled with former manager Xavi and willingly returned to play for Barça Atletic when needed.

As such, it is to be noted that the last season was not smooth for Casado. Although he earned a place in the first team, an injury kept him out during the crucial final phase when all major trophies were on the line.

Still, the youngster remains hopeful and sees the upcoming season as a new opportunity to earn minutes under Hansi Flick, even if the competition is tough.

In May, Casado renewed his contract with Barcelona until 2030, with improved financial terms. The extension reflected both the club’s faith in him and his deep loyalty to Barça.

A lifelong fan, Casado even joined the title celebrations with supporters, a gesture that speaks volumes about his love for the club.

For now, Casado remains determined to stay, fight for his place, and prove he belongs in the Barcelona first team.
