Internal conversations continue within FC Barcelona to discuss potential exits this summer. Certain players remain untouchable, while others are seen as options to offload during this transfer window. However, reaching unanimous decisions regarding such issues can be difficult at Barcelona.

Considering player sales, not everyone within the club seems to agree on the players that have been shortlisted or are being recognised as possible exits. One such player is 21-year-old Marc Casado, and there seems to be a lot of uncertainty regarding his future.

According to Mundo Deportivo, there are influential people within Barcelona who would not oppose his exit if a good offer arrives. At the same time, however, others at the club wish to retain the player for something more than just his sporting qualities.

Seen as a great asset to the locker room and overall positivity within the team, Barça seems to value that highly as well. A player who would do anything for La Blaugrana, Casado is a youth product as well, and Joan Laporta reportedly is not too keen on the idea of letting him go.

Despite exit rumours emerging this summer, Barcelona remains careful about which players they end up offloading. As for Casado, despite there being a lot of midfielders in the team right now, he remains a player committed to the club, and the final decision on his future will need to involve his input and that of Hansi Flick’s as well.
