Barcelona defender Oscar Mingueza is forcing a January market rethink for coach Ronald Koeman.
After Gerard Pique's knee injury, Koeman made signing a new centre-half a priority for the winter transfer window, with Manchester City youngster Eric Garcia the top target.

However, such has been Mingueza's form since his promotion that Koeman is reconsidering his plans.
Sport says the youngster's impact now has Koeman discussing with directors about the prospect of dropping centre-half signing plans and focusing on other positions.
In the three games Mingueza has featured so far, Barca are yet to concede.
