With the end of the season and subsequently the summer transfer window fast approaching, FC Barcelona are starting to formulate their plans for what will be an important period for the club.

The Catalans will go trophyless this season and club president Joan Laporta has previously vowed that there would be consequences for failing to meet the objectives set for the campaign.

As such, there are reports claiming that the Blaugrana could be looking at a squad overhaul in the summer, with offers likely to be heard for most of the players.

Only four players seen as non-transferable

Amidst this Marta Ramon of RAC1 has come forward with a report stating that Barcelona regard only four players as ‘non-transferable’ heading into the summer transfer window.

These four players are goalkeeper and second captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen, midfield prodigy Gavi, and breakthrough stars Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi.

Ter Stegen signed a new long-term deal with Barça not very long ago and is seen as a key member of the team for the present and the future.

As for Gavi, currently sidelined with injury, the La Masia graduate is also considered an indispensable asset by the Blaugrana, even though there has been tentative interest from PSG.

Likewise, both Yamal and Cubarsi have also attracted interest from PSG, but Barcelona will not entertain any offers or proposals for the La Masia breakthrough duo.

In fact, having already secured Yamal’s long-term future with a new contract, the Catalans are closing in on a new deal for Cubarsi as well.

Furthermore, it was reported only earlier today that Barça could further increase Yamal’s release clause amount due to PSG’s continued interest in the winger.

What about the rest?

While his name might not be mentioned in the list, it is unlikely that Barcelona would entertain offers for Pedri either, given how central he is to Xavi’s plans.

Meanwhile, future prospects like Fermin Lopez, Marc Guiu, and Hector Fort are also unlikely to be sold by the Catalans, along with veterans like Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez.

However, offers could be heard for Frenkie de Jong, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha, among others.
