The agents of a number of high-profile squad members at La Liga giants Barcelona have recently made contact with president Joan Laporta.
As much comes in a bid to make clear their frustrations with Barca head coach Xavi.
The name of tactician Xavi has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines across all of Spain over the course of recent days.
This comes amid claims that the Camp Nou brass are taking into fresh consideration a parting of ways with the club’s former midfield star.
A number of Blaugrana directors are understood to have been left furious by comments laid out by Xavi during a pre-match press conference in midweek.
And yet, if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, it would appear that those in the boardroom are far from the only ones unhappy with Barca’s headmaster at this moment in time.
As per a report from Diario Sport, so too are the representatives of several leading members of the club’s first-team squad.
Amid mounting discontent with how their clients are being treated by Xavi, it is claimed that the aforementioned Joan Laporta has recently been directly contacted by a number of high-profile agents.
Amongst those understood to be unhappy with the conduct of their manager over recent weeks are the likes of Robert Lewandowski, João Félix, and Raphinha.
