As Barcelona are en route to finishing this season without any piece of silverware, the club will have to now focus their attentions on reinforcing the squad in the next summer transfer window and providing Xavi with a team that can compete for all the possible trophies.

For this purpose, one of the positions that the Catalans have identified to be in need of reinforcement is that of the left winger, and there have been several players already linked with Barcelona for this purpose. One such player has been Nico Williams, while Dani Olmo has also been associated with them in the last few months.

However, both these players can end up costing Barcelona more than €50 million, a sum that the Catalans will find hard to spend this time. As a result, they are also keeping their eyes on some low-cost options.

According to SPORT, one such player belonging to this category is Antonio Nusa, who currently plays for the Belgian side Brugge, and is a Norwegian winger of Nigerian descent. The winger is currently valued at €17 million and has a contract till 2027 with the Belgian club.

The 19-year-old has been impressive mainly because of his ability to take defenders on one-on-one, and his ability to advance the ball to the opposition goal. He has already played up to 2152 minutes with the Brugge first team, in which he has scored four goals and assisted another four.

Barcelona have been following the youngster for a long time now, and have received encouraging reports about him. The Catalans will again send a scout to Belgium to monitor the youngster’s performance as Brugge faces off against Fiorentina in the second leg of the UEFA Conference League semi-final.
