Indeed, they've alerted agents that Antony's price has now increased from €30m to €40m.

Ajax paid €15.75m to Sao Paulo, which can look forward to a maximum of €6m in bonuses. The Brazilian club is also entitled to twenty percent of any profit that Ajax makes on a possible transfer of the attacker.

Antony was part of Brazil's gold medal Olympics team this summer. The 21 year-old is in his second season with Ajax and has a contract to 2025.

This season, Antony has played seven games, scoring twice and producing two assists. Overall, the young attacker has made 52 appearances for the Dutch giants, scoring 12 times and producing 12 assists.
