Barcelona and Valencia poised to be in business twice this summer

Barcelona are to begin planning their summer transfer window activities upon Hansi Flick’s return from holiday, and several players could be on his shopping list. One player that sporting director Deco hopes to convince him to sign is Valencia’s Javi Guerra, who will be available for a tempting fee.

If Barcelona are in for Guerra, it may not be the only deal that takes place between themselves and Valencia, say Diario AS. Los Che are in for a new striker, and Vitor Roque is one player they are keeping an eye on – they could make their move if it’s decided that he can leave on loan for the 2024-25 season.

There would be no swap deal arranged if both deals were to be on the table, as they would run parallel with each other. Valencia could be an ideal place for Roque to secure regular playing time, something that Barcelona want – equally, Guerra would be a very promising long-term signing, and he can contribute effectively now, too.
