Barcelona already planning pre-season tour to the USA, could play Real Madrid, Juventus | OneFootball

After travelling to the United States of America for pre-season camps in the last two years, Barcelona are once again working on a new tour of North American nation in 2024, reports Mundo Deportivo.

The reigning La Liga champions are already trying to define the dates, which will be dictated by the European Championship, that will end on 14 July, and by the Copa America, and also by the potential opponents.

The report states that Barça are already trying to enter into negotiations with top-level European opponents who will also land on American soil in the same period of time.

Real Madrid, Juventus likely opponents again?

Furthermore, it is also claimed that Barcelona are once again expected to face Real Madrid on the pre-season tour of the USA.

The Clasico is seen as essential to generate revenue by the club and as such, they are awaiting the dates that Real Madrid will be arranging their pre-season tour to the US to finalise things.

Along with Real Madrid, Barcelona are expected to face another familiar foe in Juventus. Contacts have already begun, but there is still time to make a plan.

Furthermore, Barcelona have sounded out Inter Miami to set up a game against club legends like Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suarez. But the MLS club will be involved in the Leagues Cup at the time making a friendly difficult.

The plan is for Barcelona to find a venue where they set up camp and then travel for matches. Last season they had played in Dallas and Las Vegas, although this time out, it is suggested that the matches could be played in Orlando and New York.
