Barcelona moved seven points clear of Sevilla in La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Celta Vigo on Tuesday evening.

A brace from January acquisition Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and a first half strike from Memphis Depay secured the impressive win for Xavi Hernandez’s side.

Thankfully, Xavi confirmed after the match that the Uruguayan defender will be fine.

“Araujo is conscious, out of danger,” the Barcelona boss said. “[The] doctor tells us not to worry.”

That really is the best news to come from the match.

Overall, Barcelona performed pretty well, with Ousmane Dembele undoubtedly the star of the show.

The French winger, who’s out of contract in the summer, tormented Celta Vigo throughout the game and contributed two assists.

He’s now recorded 13 in just 20 La Liga outings, which is a mighty fine return.

The visitors just had no answer to his quick feet, with two Celta Vigo players left on the turf at one point while Dembele was in possession of the ball.

You could say he made them breakdance…

Okay, one of them may have slipped a tad, but Dembele was at the very least partly responsible for their tumble to the ground.

When the former Borussia Dortmund man is playing with confidence, he is a joy to watch.

And if you don’t believe that, take look at his full individual highlights from Barcelona’s win over Celta Vigo.

Now that right there is a masterclass.

It remains to be seen whether Dembele renews his contract at Barcelona, with several members of Europe’s elite said to be keen on signing him for free – including Paris Saint-Germain.

Aubameyang, who played with him at Dortmund as well as in Catalonia, is desperate for him to remain at Camp Nou.

“He is my little brother,” the ex-Arsenal striker told Movistar+. “We have been together for a long time, from the first day he arrived at Dortmund.

“Over time we have built up this sibling relationship. That’s why I love him so much.

“He’s doing very well now and I am very happy for him. I hope with all my heart that he stays.”
