Barcelona youth star Juan Miranda has admitted he still has more to learn before he’s ready for the first team.

The 18-year-old is seen as one of the brightest prospects at Camp Nou and has been ear-marked for a potential senior start later this season.

The teenager though has insisted that he still has more to do before usurping Jordi Alba from the left-back position.

“It’s still early for the first team,” he told Mundo Deportivo.

“Yes, it’s true that I’m training a lot with them, but my place is at Barça B.

“Jordi [Alba] always tells me to be calm. The experience of being with them makes me better. It’s a dream.

“They remind me to go little by little and be calm.”
