Currently a free agent following his departure from Sekhukhune United, Badra Ali Sangaré is weighing all options available to him for a return to action. The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations champion is even open to the idea of playing once again in Ligue 1 Côte d'Ivoire after several years abroad.

Badra Ali Sangaré finds himself in a period of transition after his forced exit from Sekhukhune United. The Ivorian international goalkeeper explained that his departure was part of a sporting shake-up at the South African club, led by a new coach.

Nevertheless, this situation has not dampened the Ivorian shot-stopper’s determination to continue his career. At 39, Badra Ali Sangaré still wants to play and, to that end, is ready to return to where it all began. The former ES Bingerville, Séwé Sports, ASEC Mimosas, and AS Tanda goalkeeper has stated he is prepared to return home and rejoin his country’s top flight, Ligue 1 Côte d'Ivoire.
