The hot water must be off in Stefan Savić’s house at the moment because he can’t get enough of an early bath currently.
The 32-year-old defender received his marching orders in the second half of Atlético Madrid’s LaLiga clash with Celta Vigo on Sunday, and the Montenegrin seeing red is becoming a common theme in Atleti’s games of late.
This happened to be Savić’s third red card in his last five games.
Savić first saw red in the 1-0 defeat to Barcelona on January 8 for grappling with Ferran Torres before picking up two yellows in the Copa del Rey quarter-final defeat to Real Madrid on January 26.
And he’s at it again today.
Remarkable consistency.
