Athletic Club name squad for Granada clash | OneFootball

The squad of players set to be depended upon by Athletic Club to get the better of Granada has been unveiled online.

And it features some altogether positive news in the club’s defensive ranks.

Ernesto Valverde’s troops are primed to mark their return to La Liga action on Friday night, when they kick the latest round of fixtures in Spain’s top-flight into gear in a meeting with relegation-bound Granada.

The Basque giants will head into proceedings with sights on a bounce-back result, after being denied all three points in nothing short of agonising fashion at the death against Villarreal last time out.

In efforts towards as much, Athletic will once more be able to call upon both Yeray Álvarez, and Íñigo Ruiz de Galarreta.

The former has overcome an adductor problem which kept him out last weekend, whilst midfielder De Galarreta returns after sitting out a one-game suspension.
