Athletic: Chelsea expected to make another attempt to sign Jules Kounde | OneFootball

But of course, Chelsea ended up failing with an attempt to bring Sevilla defender, Jules Kounde to Stamford Bridge in the summer due to the two clubs being unable to agree a fee in the end.

Kounde was all set to make the trip from Spain to the UK and settle at his new club Chelsea, but it was not to be.

However, he may well be getting another chance to fulfil his dream of playing in the Premier League, and that could even come as soon as January, according to a report today from The Athletic.

They claim that Chelsea are expected to make another attempt to try and sign the French international defender in January or in the summer.
