According to Foot Mercato, Atalanta, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham are interested in signing Kevin Danso (25) from Lens. The Italian side are currently the most advanced in their interest and in negotiations with the player’s entourage over a potential move for the Austrian international.
Lens are willing to let the former Southampton defender leave the club as long as their financial demands are met. The Ligue 1 club are set to command a fee in the region of €25m for Danso. The defender previously attracted the interest of Bayern Munich and Napoli before deciding to extend his contract with Les Sang et Or.
The Artois club have already made steps to recruit in the defensive third of the pitch this summer. With the arrival of Hervé Koffi from Charleroi between the sticks and the arrival of Malang Sarr from Chelsea, Lens may feel they are able to let the 25-year-old leave due to their previous dealings in the market.
