Tottenham have confirmed the signing of forward Mohammed Kudus from West Ham.
The 24-year-old joins Spurs on a six-year deal for a fee believed to be around £55m.
“I’ve always wanted to play at the highest level,” Kudus said on why he signed for Spurs.
“How big the club is, the history, and the Champions League as well, so it’s a big moment.
“The most important part of why I’ve come here is the project and how the manager sees that, where he’s come from and seeing the amount of talent he’s developed into becoming great players. That’s a big part of why I wanted to work under him as well.
“The fans are really going to enjoy what I’m going to bring to the team.”
Kudus spent two years at the Hammers after signing from Ajax in 2023.
He made 65 Premier League appearances in total for the east London side, scoring 13 times.
The Ghana international will wear the number 20 shirt at Tottenham, who are also hoping to complete the signing of Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
Spurs have met the £60m release clause in Gibbs-White’s contract with the England international now set to undergo a medical.
