Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini has hinted he's ready to stay next season.
La Dea have struggled in the second-half of the campaign.
"Europe has made us become a better team. This season, we haven't been as good, but hopefully, we can improve in the last six games," he said at an event with La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luigi Garlando.
“Football has changed in the last six years. Atalanta were a team founded on experienced players, but things changed after the famous game with Napoli. I played promising products of the academy such as Mattia Caldara, Roberto Gagliardini, Andrea Conti, then Andrea Petagna and Alessandro Bastoni…the rest is history.
“Every record beaten is like a trophy. I was sad in the summer when I heard that a fan envied those of Verona because they have won a Scudetto. That being said, we'll work to win one…"
