Juventus winger Matias Soule is currently on loan at the Italian club Frosinone and his performances have attracted the attention of the Premier League clubs.

According to a report from Calciomercato, Aston Villa have now joined the race to sign the 20-year-old Argentine attacker along with Newcastle United.

The South American forward has 10 goals and two assists to his name across all competitions this season and he could prove to be a quality, long-term acquisition for the West Midlands club.

Similarly, Newcastle need to bring in an alternative to Callum Wilson and the Argentine could prove to be the ideal alternative. The 20-year-old is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three and he will add goals and creativity to the side.

Aston Villa have been overly reliant on Ollie Watkins for goals this season and they need to bring in more quality in the final third. The 20-year-old could prove to be a solid, long-term investment for them. It will be interesting to see if Aston Villa are prepared to pay the asking price for him.

The South American forward is valued at €40 million. Aston Villa certainly have the financial muscle to pay that kind of money for him and the player might end up justifying the investment in the long run. He is only 20 and he is likely to develop further with coaching and experience. Working under a top class coach like Unai Emery could accelerate his development.

The opportunity to move to Aston Villa and Newcastle will be a tempting proposition for the young attacker if they can promise him first team action. He is unlikely to start for Juventus next season and therefore a permanent exit from the Italian club could be ideal for him.
