Emi Martínez has penned a long-term contract extension with Aston Villa, the club have announced.
The Argentine signed from Arsenal in the summer of 2020, penning an initial contract until 2024.

But he has now extended that deal by a further three years after cementing himself as the Villans’ undisputed first choice.
During his debut campaign at Villa Park, he was a key part of the defence which kept a Premier League-equalling club record 15 clean sheets.
