Aston Villa and PSG have reached an agreement this Saturday regarding Marco Asensio’s (29) loan move to the Premier League side, according to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins. The Spaniard will undergo a medical with Unai Emery’s Villains this Sunday. Asensio was an unused substitute this Saturday as PSG dispatched Brest in a thrilling 5-2 away win. Aston Villa were in the market for attacking reinforcements upfront as Villa parted ways with Colombian centre-forward Jhon Duran and Argentine attacking midfielder Emiliano Buendia.

Marco Asensio’s loan move to Aston Villa still hinges on Cher Ndour’s sale to Fiorentina as PSG have already reached the quota of six over-21 players they could send on loan with Ndour, Randal Kolo Muani (Juventus), Carlos Soler (West Ham), Nordi Mukiele (Bayer Leverkusen), Milan Skriniar (Fenerbahçe) and Renato Sanches (Benfica). Ndour’s transfer to Fiorentina is expected to go through on Sunday, paving the way for Asensio to join Aston Villa on loan.
