AS Monaco forward Myron Boadu (23) could be set for a return to the Eredivisie after FC Twente manager Joseph Oosting told ESPN that he believed that the club’s hierarchy were working on a deal.
Boadu has struggled since arriving at Monaco for €17m from AZ Alkmaar back in the summer of 2021. The Dutchman has been plagued by injuries throughout his time at the Principality club, and he has therefore been unable to find his rhythm. This season, he has made 10 appearances, but no starts, and has one goal to his name.
Monaco are not opposed to Boadu leaving this January. Twente are now working on a deal for the player. The club’s technical director, Arnold Bruggink, is engaged in talks with the Principality club. The Eredivisie side are in negotiations over a loan transfer, according to L’Équipe, however, the form of the current proposal does not suit Les Monégasques.
