AS Monaco have posted footage of their new €55m training complex – and it looks epic.

The Ligue 1 giants started building their new training complex in 2018.

Four years later and after serious investment from their owner, Dmitry Rybolovlev, it is complete.

Prince Albert-II of Monaco, as well as 200 guests and 40 journalists, were present on Monday to celebrate the opening of the new AS Monaco Performance Center.

Per Monacolife.net, It includes two gyms (one of which is fitted with an anti-gravity treadmill), saunas, sleep pods and a swimming pool.

Prince Albert II of Monaco said of the new training ground, per Monaco’s official website: “A new page in the history of AS Monaco opens today.

“This Performance Center, equipped with ultra-modern facilities and numerous spaces dedicated to excellence, represents a strong signal for the Club, for the players and for all those who love AS Monaco.

“Congratulations to Mr. Dmitry Rybolovlev and all the players in the Club for the success of this project which will allow our Club to continue to progress and aim for the heights. I am convinced that AS Monaco, through its performance, will give us all a lot of emotions.

“I would also like to salute all the teams who participated in the construction of this magnificent complex. All my best wishes for this AS Monaco Performance Center.”

While Rybolovlev said: “This is a very important and historic moment for our Club. It was a major project, as difficult as it was ambitious, which allows AS Monaco to offer its professional group today and, tomorrow, the next generations of players, to train in optimal conditions.

“This new complex meets the highest requirements in the sports, technical, medical and other fields. The necessary training conditions have been created at the Performance Center to help our club achieve its goals.”
