Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal reportedly stormed out of training on Tuesday after learning he would not start against Real Madrid.
Barça host fierce rivals Madrid on Wednesday after the initial fixture – scheduled for October 26 – was rescheduled due to political unrest.
According to ESPN, Vidal left early when manager Ernesto Valverde revealed he would be benched for the sixth time in seven matches.
It’s understood that several players tried to comfort the Chile international, who is now likely to push for a January move away from Camp Nou.
Inter are keen admirers of Vidal who could be tempted by a reunion with former boss Antonio Conte after their time successful together at Juventus.
Barça are likely to demand a return on their initial €20m investment should he depart.
