Arsenal striker Stephy Mavididi looks set to become the latest English youngster to leave the Premier League and try his luck abroad.

There’s been a recent exodus of talent leaving the UK and heading to the continent for more game time – with the likes of Jonathan Panzo, Jadon Sancho and Reece Oxford all heading off to Europe.

And the 20-year-old goalscorer could well join them after the Sun revealed that Juventus are in talks over a permanent deal.

Mavididi has represented England at every age level but has so far failed in his quest for senior minutes in north London.

The second half of last season saw the forward go on loan to Charlton, where he netted twice for the Addicks.

But apparently Massimiliano Allegri’s men have seen enough in him to make a move, with the tabloid believing that deal could be struck before the end of the week.
