Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side have endured yet another frustrating end to the current campaign, falling short in their quests for both the Premier League and the Champions League.
Despite strong performances throughout the season, the Gunners are set to finish as Premier League runners-up for the third consecutive year, with no silverware to show for their efforts.
Arsenal manager Arteta has some big decisions to make in the summer transfer window with the Spaniard ready to spend big on new signings at the club.
There is a desperate need of a new number nine at Arsenal, somebody who is a reliable goal scorer and can lead their attack.
According to TBR Football, Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is set to be available for transfer this summer after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract with the Turin-based club.
The Serbian’s current deal is set to expire at the end of next season, and Juventus have reportedly walked away from negotiations after Vlahovic rejected a proposed pay cut.
The 25-year-old forward, who joined Juventus from Fiorentina in 2022, has been a consistent goal threat during his time in Serie A, netting 55 goals in 140 appearances.
However, Juventus are now willing to let him leave for a cut-price fee of just £25 million, an opportunity the Gunners are reportedly keen to explore.
Having seen both his attackers get injured this season, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, Arteta is ready to invest in a new striker who can solve their goal scoring issues.

It won’t be unfair to claim that the Gunners failed in their quest to win silverware this season because of a lack of reliable presence leading their attack.
The North London club have also been linked with a move for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres who has proved himself as one of the best goal scorers in Europe.
