Caitlin Foord broke the deadlock for Arsenal eight minutes after the restart against Linkoping, after Kim Little saw her first-half penalty saved. A second headed goal followed from Lina Hurtig and Stina Blackstenius added a late third goal to make it 3-0. The Gunners will meet Paris FC on Saturday, after the French side beat FC Kryvbas 4-0.

Celtic claimed their first-ever win in the UWCL, edging Brondby 1-0 in Oslo. Kelly Clark’s second-half effort saw the Hoops make the group final.

Glasgow City struck twice after the break through Brenna Lovera and Lauren Davidson to beat Shelbourne 2-0, with Gintra their opponents in Saturday’s group final.

Gintra were 2-0 winners over Cardiff City FC, Juliet Bassey converting a first-half penalty and doubling the advantage early in the second period.

Cliftonville suffered an 8-1 thrashing at the hands of Benfica, but Caitlin McGuinness netted the Reds’ first European goal.
