Arsenal & Tottenham target Malcom will leave 'sooner or later'

Bordeaux manager Gus Poyet has admitted that Malcom will leave the club ‘sooner or later’.

The Brazilian forward was heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League in January, with Arsenal and Tottenham thought to be at the front of the queue for his signature.

And the Uruguayan coach has conceded that his star asset looks likely to exit for the Premier League in the very near future.

“He is a special player who can win matches on his own,” Poyet told Marca.

“He is often double-marked because his talent is that special, and in January we were nervous because we almost lost him to the Premier League.

“We must prepare for this because sooner or later he will leave.”
