Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is in talks about a return to France this summer.
Off contract at the end of next month, Lacazette is nearing his Arsenal exit, as the Frenchman prepares to leave the club on a free transfer. The 31-year-old will follow Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out the door after the Gabonese striker left the club in January.
Eddie Nketiah appears to have agreed terms on a new five-year-deal, meaning that it's not panic stations just yet for Arteta, but Lacazette is reportedly nearing a return to France. The striker was bought from Lyon back in 2017, after becoming a star for his home club, scoring over 100 league goals.
And it looks as though he may return to what he knows best, as journalist Ekrem Konur revealed that he is in talks with both Lyon and Marseille.
His preference is said to be his old club, but a return to France in any form is a priority for Lacazette.
