After the disastrous 2024/25 season, Manchester United are prepared to part ways with multiple stars to mould the squad in Ruben Amorim’s image, and Alejandro Garnacho could be among the most high-profile names to exit.
The Argentine has had quite a few run-ins with the head coach, including before the Manchester derby last year and after the Ipswich Town game a couple of months ago.
But his comments after the Europa League final seemed to be the final straw with the Portuguese tactician informing the 20-year-old to find himself a new club in the summer.
Currently travelling to Asia for the post-season trip, the Argentina international has already instructed his agents to speak to Real Madrid and offer his services to the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal.
And as per Givemesport, the Carrington graduate could leave Old Trafford and remain in England with Arsenal keen on a wide man and they have the United wonderkid on their list of targets.
“Arsenal are also eyeing a wide forward, GMS sources have learned, leading to Rafael Leao, Rodrygo, Alejandro Garnacho, Nico Williams, Jamie Gittens, Kaoru Mitoma, Mohammed Kudus and Bryan Mbeumo being eyed.”
And TBR Football have claimed that the representatives of Alejandro Garnacho have met Mikel Arteta’s team and now it is up to his suitors to decide who wants to go all out to land the United No.17.
“TBR Football can reveal that Garnacho’s agents have been in contact with Arsenal to confirm the winger’s current situation.
“Andrea Berta is searching for a new winger at Arsenal. And perhaps that explains why Garnacho’s people have been in contact with Arsenal, who are determined to upgrade their options in attack.”
As already relayed by The Peoples Person, Napoli are in pole position, and are set to meet the youngster’s representatives this week.
The newly-crowned Serie A champions had failed to land him in January but they are prepared to go all out to win the race in the summer.
Antonio Conte’s team feel £50 million can get the job done, but INEOS have a different valuation for direct domestic rivals with Chelsea informed that they will need to cough up £65 million to land the versatile winger.
