PSG are overhauling their center-back position with Lucas Beraldo, Willian Pacho, and Illia Zabarnyi coming in the last two years. Nonetheless, the Parisians might not be done injecting more youth into the central defense.

Moreover, the capital club have prioritized securing top French talent in the last couple of years, too, with the arrivals of Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué, and Lucas Chevalier. As a result, the capital club could be in on another French player to continue revamping their center-backs.

Nonetheless, the Ligue 1 side does face a serious hurdle if they want to land William Saliba from Arsenal.

Just Arsenal reports, citing sources, that the Gunners have made it crystal clear that Saliba is not for sale, rejecting approaches from both PSG and Real Madrid.

Arsenal view the Frenchman as the foundation of their defense for the long term and are intent on securing his future. According to the report, Saliba is set to be offered a new deal that would raise his salary to about £250,000 per week, placing him among the club’s top earners.

It will be interesting to see if this is a rumor that lingers or if the Premier League side wraps up Saliba quickly with a long-term deal.
