Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is confident Hertha Berlin's ambitions match his.
The France U21 international is on a season-long loan at Hertha.
He said, "I know the ambitions of the club and I would like to do my part to ensure that we are successful and take a step forward together.
"Hertha brought me in so that I can help achieve the club's goals. I will give everything for that."
Guendouzi admits fellow Frenchman Lucas Tousaert had a say in his choice.
"I know Lucas from our time together for the French national team. We talked a long time before I made my decision. He came to Germany to develop and help the club achieve its goals. After the discussions, I had a good feeling, so I decided to take this step."
