The player is expected to miss around 3 months of action which could compromise Arsenal’s run for the league title.

As a result, the Gunners have begun scouting for valid replacements which could reinforce Mikel Arteta’s offensive department.

According to calciomercato.com, Arsenal are now eyeing Tammy Abraham with whom the English club had been in talks before his decision to join Roma in the summer of 2021.

The 25-year-old striker has had a difficult start to his second season in the Italian capital and is now frequently linked with other European clubs given his scarce display resulting in only three league goals in 15 appearances.
