Arsenal are interested in Marc Guehi this summer, and Crystal Palace fear the defender is likely to leave in the upcoming window.

The Times report that Crystal Palace are worried that Marc Guehi is likely to leave this summer, with only two years on his contract with the Premier League club.

Manchester United and Arsenal have both reportedly scouted Guehi, with the Gunners seemingly likely to be in the market for a centre-back this summer.

Guehi is expected to be valued at more than £55m this summer, which would make him Palace’s record sale.

Football journalist Alan Nixon reported earlier in the season that Arsenal had joined the race for Guehi, with the player part of Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans.

At the time, the Gunners knew that Guehi wouldn’t be available in the January transfer window, but they were reportedly willing to wait until the end of the season.

Before that, the Daily Mail had reported over the summer that Guehi was among Arsenal’s key targets if they’d received a ridiculous bid for Gabriel Magalhaes from interested clubs in Saudi Arabia.

That didn’t happen in the end, but Guehi was clearly the player being looked at if Arsenal suddenly found themselves with the funds and the need to make a move.

Guehi has made 26 appearances for Crystal Palace this season, but he’s missed the last few months of action due to knee surgery.

The 23-year-old opted to have the surgery sooner rather than later in the hope that his issue would have cleared up by the time the European Championships came around this summer.

Guehi has made nine appearances for England under Gareth Southgate, starting both games in the November break prior to his surgery.
