Arsenal have been handed a massive injury boost ahead of their Champions League game against Atalanta on Thursday as Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori has returned to training.
The Gunners star picked up an injury during the international break in a match against France and missed the game at Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday as a result.
However, Calafiori is expected to be available for selection tomorrow and should also be part of the Arsenal contingent for the trip to face Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory against Spurs without the Italian and several other injured stars but could do with them against Man City.
Declan Rice is also set to return after missing the Tottenham game through suspension.
However, Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard will not be playing. He has yet to return to training after being pictured on crutches a week ago.
Mikel Merino is also still out injured, while Kieran Tierney, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko have yet to return.
Arsenal will be looking to start their Champions League campaign with a victory and also leave the Etihad with all three points on Sunday.
They trail Man City by two points after four games and would move to the top of the Premier League if they win.
