Arsenal complete signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner

Arsenal have completed their first signing under Unai Emery with the arrival of Swiss international Stephane Lichtsteiner.

The veteran full-back joins as a free agent after leaving Juventus, where he won the title in each of his seven seasons.

Lichtsteiner will wear the number 12 shirt and is expected to compete with Hector Bellerín for the starting berth.

He’s a player with great quality with a very positive and determined attitude. Stephan will improve us on and off the pitch.”
