Sao Paulo midfielder Pablo Maia has been linked with a move to the Premier League at the end of the season.
A report from Daily Mail claims that clubs like Arsenal and West Ham United could be potential destinations for the 22-year-old at the end of the season. The midfielder is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League and he will want to compete at the highest level.
A move to Arsenal or West Ham would certainly be an attractive proposition for him. It would be a major step up from Sao Paulo.
Arsenal could certainly use a quantity defensive midfielder, especially as the long-term replacement for Thomas Partey. The Ghana international has had his fair share of injury problems this season and he will need to be replaced in the coming months.
The Brazilian could form a quality partnership with Declan Rice at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield. He will add defensive cover to their side and allow the creative players to operate with more freedom.
