Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez sets big objectives for his club, while opening up on his rapport with Marcus Thuram.

The Argentine led his team towards a vital win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. The 2-0 victory sees the Nerazzurri consolidating their lead on top of the Serie A table, opening a four-point gap with Juventus.

The 26-year-old pounced on a blunder from Adam Marusic to break the deadlock with his 15th goal in the league this season.

Martinez dedicated the goal to his region Bahia Blanca which witnessed a tragedy this weekend, with 13 persons losing their lives due to a storm.

“I’ve worked a lot to improve and I try to prove it in every match.”

Moreover, the Inter captain admitted that Juventus remains a tough challenger even if they don’t always perform well.
